Riverside Cemetery is located at 125 Hymers Fair Drive, just outside the village of Hymers.
Plots
Single Plot 4' x 8' : $350
Single Plot 4' x 10' : $350
One full body burial and two cremates; or four cremates can be placed in a single plot.
Transfer of Cemetery Plot Ownership: $25
To transfer cemetery plot ownership, all close surviving relatives of the owner must sign a letter indicating to whom the plot shall transfer ownership. This is approved by council.
Burials
Single grave: $350 weekday
$500 weekends and holidays
Cremated remains (summer interment only): $100 Township prepares site;
$50 Family prepares site
Single disinterment and re-burial in cemetery: $700 other grave;
$350 same grave or re-burial in
another cemetery
Markers
Flat Marker 172 sq. inches or larger: $50 (max. size 12" high, 42" long with a
minimum thickness of 4", made of bronze, marble or granite);
Upright monument up to 4 feet in height or width: $100;
Upright monument over 4 feet in height or width: $200;
A monument dealer/contractor must erect the stone at the cemetery
through direction from the Township's grave marker.
Names of persons buried at the cemtery is available on the internet. The municipality did not compile or confirme the accuracy of the information provided on the third party website.
