Five Year Official Plan Review
The Township of Gillies is undertaking a 5 year review of the Official Plan as required under the Planning Act. The following public meetings are scheduled to be held at the Gillies Municipal Office:
October 26, 2009 at 6 PM - Special Meeting to discuss with the public the possible revisions to the Official Plan that may be required.
October 26, 2009 at 6:30 PM - Open House to discuss with the public the revisions as a result of consultation with the Approval Authority, prescribed public bodies and the public.
November 9, 2009 at 6:30 PM - Public Meeting to give the public an opportunity to make representations in respect of the current proposed plan.
November 9, 2009 at 7 PM - Regular council meeting where council intends to adopt the official plan amendments.

Winter Maintenance on Badger Mine Road
Effective for the 2009/2010 winter season, the Township of Gillies will no longer be providing winter maintenance on Badger Mine Road (off of Hwy 588).
