Mobile Health Unit
| The NorWest Community Health Centres has expanded its services to include a Mobile Health Unit that will travel to rural communities providing free health care services and health promotion. A Nurse Practitioner will travel on the Mobile Unit to provide urgent care clinics in selected communities. Nurse Practitioners can provide primary health care, diagnose, treat and refer clients within their scope of practice. Free foot care services will also be provided by a specially trained Registered Foot Care Nurse. The Mobile Unit is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
