Gillies Playgroup has been successfully running for over 20 years in Gillies Township.  It is a non-profit cooperative effort that is organized by families in the community and the surrounding area.  Pre-school aged children and their parents or guardians gather to share information and  interact.  Gillies Playgroup's parent organization is the Murrillo Family Resource Centre.

During the school year, the Gillies Playgroup meets Monday mornings at Whitefish Valley school from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  All parents or guardians and their preschool children are welcome to come and join in the activities and special events.
