Advisory Committees

The following advisory committees gather information and make recommendations to Council for consideration on topics and issues under their mandates. The Committee Members Policy sets out the procedure by which members are appointed to each committee. Copies of Advisory Committee minutes are available for viewing at the Municipal Office or by requesting a copy to be received via email or fax. Fire Protection Advisory Committee |

An advisory committee with the mandate to provide background research and to prepare recommendations to council on any matter referred by council. The committee meets as required. Notice of meetings will be posted here a minimum of 24 hours prior to the holding of a meeting. There are no upcoming meetings scheduled. |

Roads Advisory Committee |

An advisory committee with the mandate to address the service delivery of roads construction and maintenance in Gillies Township. This committee meets as required. Notice of meetings will be posted here a minimum of 24 hours prior to the holding of a meeting. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 8:45 AM at the Municipal Office to discuss background information on Leeper Road; a boundary road with Lybster Township. |
